The Education Network was originally founded by Teachers and has always advocated that Supply Teachers deserve recognition.
The majority of children in the UK will at some time be taught by a Supply Teacher and without the valuable support of Supply Teachers children’s education would suffer.
To be a Supply Teacher is not an easy job and you need to be flexible, adaptable and at times have a good sense of humour.
The Education Network was delighted to support the first annual National Supply Week which highlighted the positive impact that Supply Teachers have and helped them gain the respect they should be accorded for the professionals they are.
