A Star Teachers is a specialist education recruitment agency, based in North London, which is owned and run by teachers.
We have over a decade of experience in providing a complete range of teaching positions in London and its surrounds, whilst offering excellent rates of pay.
We professionally support our teachers in the classroom, on a one to one basis and outside the classroom, through our professional development programme.
We know how to match a great teacher to a school that they’ll love! We have a fun, hard-working team who are dedicated and passionate about teaching, and this shows in our long standing relationship with supply teachers!
Our activities for National Supply Teacher week were:
- We sent our supply Teachers a personalised thank you card - a small token to show our appreciation for all of your hard work.
- We told all of our schools and candidates about National Supply Teachers Week, in order to raise their awareness of the importance of supply.
- We held a summer social on Friday 20th June for all of our supply teachers.
We would like to thank all of our teaching staff for their hard work this year, and look forward to our continued relationship.
ESS were very happy and proud to support National Supply Teachers Week, we think it is a fantastic idea and what a great way to say thank you to all our supply staff. Supply teachers deserves recognition and praise for their great work.
We contacted our schools and asked them for nominations of staff they have in regularly. From the list nominated we chose one Primary and one Secondary teacher at random and are happy to announce the winners who are:
Natalie Griffiths – Secondary Teacher
“Mrs Griffiths has incredibly high standards and concentrates on the core business of teaching and learning”
Jayne Ellis – Primary Teacher
“Jayne is the best supply teacher we have had, planning and preparation for a single day was above and beyond”
Congratulations to all the teachers who were nominated, keep up the good work.
Education Staffing Solutions (ESS) is based in Wales and was formed in 2003 with the fundamental belief that we could become a support mechanism for pupils and schools. To do this we need to grow our candidate base so we put huge efforts into making our teaching staff feel valued, supported and respected. Believe in them and they will believe in themselves.
We adopt a One Call, One Contact and One Solution philosophy. Whether you are a teacher, a school or you work in education, our teams of recruitment and education experts are there to help. Our consultants build up strong relationships with our teachers and make them feel part of the ESS team.
Team ESS is strong, committed, hardworking, honest, loyal and supplies a provision known for its QUALITY. Our teachers are quality and we thank them for representing us and continuing to drive our values.
We would like to thank all of our teaching staff and let them know we do recognise the contribution they make to our work. Even though we are a supply business we try our very best to find them permanent positions. Supply teaching has opened many doorways into schools for our candidates over the years.
Capita Education Resourcing aspires to become the first choice in education recruitment for supply teachers across the UK. Over the past 14 years, we have developed a reputation for high quality service to its staff and understand the importance of making our candidates feel valued as well supported & respected.
At Capita Education Resourcing we have adopted an approach of “Customer is King” and are looking to make our services to our candidates second to none. Whether it is a Teacher of the Term Award or just a simple ‘thank you’ we want all our candidates to feel as valued as we see them.
Our pledges for National Supply Teacher Week are:
· Bottomless Coffee Cup Drop In sessions - where all our candidates can pop in for a chat, have a review of systems they use (e-timesheets) and, of course, ample cups of coffee!
· Nominations, by each branch, for their Supply Teacher of Year with prizes awarded for the winners - see below.
· Offer all our candidates a range of free CPD (including Safeguarding & OfSTED Expectations).
Supply Teacher of the Year News!
Richard Busby is at Blackburn Central High School. We placed him on a fixed-term contract recently and he was offered a permanent post from September!
When talking about Richard, the cover manager said ‘he has really jelled as part of the BCHS team. He’s always happy to help, goes above and beyond by coming in for unpaid Open Days, and stopping on for extra-curricular clubs. He has helped me out a lot on the cover front, by sorting out cover work from teachers, and helping me organise cover in the morning.’
Capita also held a grand quiz!
Thank you for taking part in our daily quiz, in aid of ‘National Supply Teacher Week'

YoungEducation appreciates, understands and values the vital role played by supply Teachers within the education system. YoungEducation regularly recruits supply teachers as private tutors, thereby not only providing our clients with fantastic tutors but also integrating supply teachers into a warm, welcoming and supportive community. A community which believes passionately in promoting the following core values:
· Highlighting the importance of supply teachers to a child’s education
· Increasing respect for supply teachers
· Demonstrating appreciation for those working as supply teachers
· Combating, wherever we can, the feelings of isolation many supply teachers experience.
· Supporting supply teachers in their professional development
To this end, we shall, as always, continually thank our staff for the positive contribution they make to our work. But, additionally, our doors are always open, ready to welcome all supply teachers to visit our offices for a coffee and chat with our team – to provide a staffroom atmosphere where ideas and knowledge can be swapped or obtained. Furthermore, we shall be visiting our teams working in schools to deliver a small token of our very real appreciation. YoungEducation works in partnership with Local Authorities and local schools, we shall be encouraging representatives of these establishments to demonstrate their appreciation too – after all, without supply teachers where would we be?
