Premier Education is delighted to be supporting National Supply Teacher Week again this year and our team is wholeheartedly committed to its aims and objectives.
To show appreciation for those working as supply teachers
This year we will be recognising some of our outstanding supply staff by presenting our Teacher & Teaching Assistant of the Year 2014 Awards to those teachers and teaching assistants who have demonstrated commitment, professionalism and most importantly a willingness to go that extra mile while working on supply. All the winners and runners up have been nominated by the schools they’ve worked in during this academic year and will be presented with a certificate and gifts and have their photo in the local paper!
To help combat the recurring feeling amongst supply teachers of isolation
At Premier Education we are always open for our supply staff to call in for a catch up with their consultant and on Friday 13th June our offices will be open between 2.30-3.30pm for our teachers and support staff to pop in for a coffee and a chat and to meet each other. In the past we have held coffee mornings and charity fundraising events which all our supply staff are invited to participate in. Keep an eye on our website for any upcoming events this year.
To support supply teachers with their professional development
Throughout the year Premier Education hold regular Continuing Professional Development sessions and training events and are also organisers of an NQT Training Programme which runs annually. Please check our website for further details.
Premier Education is dedicated to building a strong relationship between our supply staff and our schools and our consultants are committed to placing the right person in the right job.
